Creative Writing Series: Lydia Mathis

The UT Creative Writing Program is excited to present a reading by novelist Lydia Mathis. The reading will take place Monday, February 1 at 7pm in the Lindsay Young Auditorium of John C. Hodges Library on the UT Campus. The event is free and open to the public. Lydia Mathis is the author of Desperate Bodies (Roxane Gay Books, 2026). She has an MFA in fiction from New York University. She earned her BA in English Literature with a minor in Classical Civilizations from Agnes Scott College.
