he UT Creative Writing Program is excited to present a reading by poet and writer Rochelle Hurt. The reading will take place Monday, October 19 at 7pm in the Lindsay Young Auditorium of John C. Hodges Library on the UT Campus. The event is free and open to the public. Emily Nemens is the author of Clutch and The Cactus League, both of which were NYT Book Review Editor's Choice selections. Her recent story “Asymptotes” will appear in New Stories from the South 2026, and she won a 2026 Finalist Award from the NJ Arts Council.
