Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read. As we continue to see challenges to books in Knox County Schools and across the state of Tennessee, we are hosting this symposium event in partnership with PEN America during Banned Books Week to shed light on the issue and have a day full of thoughtful action. This banned book symposium will feature: - A panel discussion from regional experts - Fun and educational activities for the whole family - A banned book and resource fair hosted by The Bottom, featuring other community organizations
